STAINLESS STEEL

HSA produces 440C grade stainless steel

440C Stainless Steel Characteristics

440C is a general purpose hardenable stainless steel which can be heat treated to the highest room temperature hardness and strength level of all the common heat resisting and corrosion resistant steels. It is used for many applications where corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance coupled with high strength and wear resistance are required, and has found excellent acceptance in the aircraft, missile, and automotive industries. 440C meets all the provisions of the latest issues of AMS5630, AMS5880, ASTM A756 and other applicable specifications.
