About Hi Specialty America Welcome to the Hi Specialty America (HSA) website. Established in 1970, Hi Specialty America (HSA) has become a recognized leader in the manufacturing of stainless steel and high speed steel coil and bar products in sizes up to .530” in diameter. HSA, an ISO 9002 manufacturing company, is located in Irwin, Pennsylvania. HSA utilizes modern equipment and advanced technology to tailor its products to the individual specifications of every customer. About our Products HSA offers three product lines. One is high speed steel, which is sold to the cutting tool industry to be made into drills, taps, reamers and band saws. A second line is stainless steel in 440C grades for bearings, shafts, fuel injectors, dental and medical devices. The third line, vacuum melted H–11 material, is engineered to meet the needs of the high performance automobile racing industry. Ask about our other grades and conversion work. About our Markets HSA serves steel consuming markets in which the emphasis is on high quality, superior service and demanding production and delivery specifications (most orders are processed within 1-6 weeks). HSA serves the cutting tool, automotive, industrial, aerospace and consumer products industries. |
